How a customer sends money through La Cedri Pay
The customer visits any branch of La cedri Bureau De Change nearest to you:
Sender Requirements
- Valid National ID, Passport, or other government-issued identification.
- Full legal name.
- Residential or physical address.
- Mobile telephone number.
- Date of birth (where required).
- Source of funds (for large or regulated transactions).
- Purpose of the remittance (e.g., family support, school fees, medical expenses, business payment).
- Amount to send
Beneficiary Information
Depending on the payout method, the customer provides:
Bank Deposit
- Beneficiary’s full name.
- Bank name.
- Bank account number.
- Branch (where applicable).
- SWIFT/BIC code or routing information if required.
- Country.
Mobile Wallet
- Beneficiary’s full name.
- Mobile number linked to the wallet.
- Mobile network operator.
- Country.
Cash Pickup (if supported by the receiving partner)
- Beneficiary’s full name as it appears on the ID.
- Country of collection.
La Cedri Pay validates beneficiary details before processing the transfer to reduce failed payments and fraud.
How a customer receives money
The recipient may receive funds into:
- A bank account.
- A mobile money wallet.
- A payment card (where supported).
- Cash pickup through a participating payout partner.
To collect or access the funds, the recipient generally needs:
- A valid government-issued ID (for cash collection).
- The transaction reference number (if applicable).
- A bank account or mobile wallet registered in their name, where required.
- A mobile phone to receive SMS confirmation where available.
KYC (Know Your Customer) Requirements
La cedri pay perform KYC and AML/CFT checks. Customers may be asked for:
- Full name.
- Date of birth.
- Nationality.
- Address.
- Telephone number.
- Email address (where applicable).
- National ID, Passport, or Driver’s Licence.
- Relationship between sender and recipient.
- Purpose of the transaction.
- Source of funds.
- Bank account details or card details (depending on the service).
- Supporting documents for higher-value or higher-risk transactions.
Typical Transaction Flow
- Customer presents ID and completes a remittance form.
- Customer provides recipient details.
- Partner verifies the customer’s identity and screens the transaction for AML/CFT compliance.
- Recipient account or wallet is validated.
- Customer pays the transfer amount plus applicable fees.
- La Cedri Pay routes the payment through its global network.
- Recipient receives the funds, often in real time, depending on the destination and payout partner.
